Birthday Recap Part 2

Kyron's 4th Birthday

Kyron's 1st Birtday was celebrated with a lot of family and friends and he really did not have a theme everything was blue and green with the the number "1" on everything. Well I guess you would say his theme was NUMBER 1.


Kyron's 2nd Birthday was celebrated by having a MICKEY MOUSE CLUB HOUSE PARTY THEME




Kyron's 3rd Birthday was celebrated with a Safari Theme based on his favorite movie MADAGASCAR.

This year he loves CARS the Disney movie so his cake will have the CARS Characters on it.

We are not having a party this year since brother Kaden is due in the same month as Kennedy Grace's birthday and I knew I would not be able or feeling up to a party for her so I thought it was only fair that Kyron did not have one either.

"EcoAquarium"

I know you guys are thinking what is that title all about. Well I am thinking about getting Kyron one of these sweet babies. I am not an animal lover, but I don't think a frog will be that bad. It's from a company "EcoAquarium™" by Wild Creations™. They received the National Parenting Seal of Approval in 2009, the Product of the Year Award from Creative Child Magazine and are in the running for Toy of the Year in 2010The best part about this pet is that it's totally self sufficient. Each EcoAquarium is a complete aquatic ecosystem environment that requires no additional chemicals, filters, or aeration. They only need the water changed every five or six months using fresh, bottled spring water. The "Living Gravel", which acts as the natural filtration system for the aquarium, does not need to be cleaned.

Kalencom

Hi everyone out there I know I am always the last one to hear about the latest fashion, but when it came to baby diaper bag I thought I knew them all. Well not all, but most of them. I was at work and several of my girlfriends was talking about purchasing me a diaper bag for Kaden. They are the sweetest ladies a girl could ever ask for. Anyway back to the diaper bag. One of my friends was talking about a Kalencom diaper bag and I had never heard of them before. I know you are thinking this girl lives in the back woods in Alabama and never get out and hear the news. Well, I guess so because this was a new one for me. Now you all know that I have two other children that had very nice diaper bags, but not this type of bag. They are very stylish. I decieded to get a bag that could be used for Kyron, Kennedy Grace, and Kaden since they are so close in age and I still have to carry things for them too. With Kennedy Grace being a girl I did not need a boy colored bag and the boys did not need a girl colored bag so I decided on this one.

Kaden's Diaper Bag

I have considered several different diaper bags from several different designers. I really like this bag from Pottery Bran Kids.I love the diaper bag from Vera Bradley , but I just feel that the pattern prints are made more for little girls and not boys. So I think I will purchase this bag for Baby Kaden.. I know you guys are probably thinking about what type of bedding will she use. Well I am still puzzling myself about it. Kaden will be the third child in the Brown's house hole and purchasing a new set of bedding is something that I just can't see happening. So I have decided to use Kyron's bedding for Kaden as well. It's still in great condition and I still love the colors and design. The bedding was created from the Wendy Bellissimo nursery collection.
I also adore the Jenny Lind crib that's in the photo. I am thinking about purchasing him a crib since Kennedy Grace is still in her bed and her bed changing into a full size bed for when she change over to a big girl bed.

Potato Saks

I know you guys are thinking she is buying for her little girl again. Lord knows I can't help it. They make little girls clothing so cute. Don't get me wrong Kyron dresses to impress too and I am sure Baby Kaden will do the same. Kennedy Grace just has to make a statement every time she walks out of the house. I am just thankful that God is blessing me and my DH to be able to purchase our kids what I like for them to have. It's times the DH tells me to hold off and let me just say that is quite often. But any way Potato Sak has an outfit that I have to order for her. The only thing is that she is getting a lot of short outfits, but know summer smock dresses. Any suggestion?

Matilda Jane

Most of you know if you have read my blog that I am a big fan of Matilda Jane clothing for my little girl. I know lately I have been shopping for her and not Kyron. I will have to work on that. I feel guilty sometimes, but do get me wrong the little man does not go with out. Anyways back to the Matilda Jane story today was the first day the their new Spring 2010 line came out and boy I wished I could order Kennedy Grace every piece. If you don't believe me just checkout the slideshow. I will post later what I actually decided to order.

Spring 2010

WOW I am so overwhelmed with the spring clothing that is out for Kenedy Grace and Kyron for the spring 2010. From Kelly Kids, Chez Ami,Orient Expressed, and Castle and Crowns. I don't no where to start or even how to narrow down my selection. I have actually picked out something from each page in the books. My DH want allow me to spend that kind of money, but hi a girl can always dream right! I have to decided before the 26th of the Month because I will be attend a Kelly's Kids party. My girl friend keep telling me to shop for next season meaning. Go ahead and buy Fall 09 clothing since it's on sale. I never really liked to do that, but I guess with two kids and one on the way that might be the way I have to shop for now on. Does anyone else shop this way?

God has Blessed Us With The Perfect Gift........

God has truely blessed the Brown family with a very memoriable gift. The Brown family will be having a new addition joining up July 2010. Believe it or not Kennedy Grace Birthday id July 22nd and Baby # 3 due date is July 23rd. Well I guess no birthday party for Kennedy Grace this year. It's funny because the DH and I talked about starting some new tradition when it came to birthday. On the kids even years for their birthday's we just take a small getaway and on the odd years for their birthday we have a party. so I guess 2011 will be party time in the Brown house hole. Kyron will be 5, Kennedy Grace will be 3 and Baby # 3 will be 1. Until next time......

SEC

For those who does not know the DH and I are huge SEC Fans. The only thing is we cheer for different teams. I am a huge ALABAMA FAN and his and AUBURN FAN. That's right our house is divided. I know our kids will become divide as well. Right know Kyron walks around the house saying Roll Tide and his daddy can't stand it. Me on the other hand enjoys it. So maybe both of my kids will be true ALABAMA FANS like their momma. ROLL TIDE!!!!! I know that the big game is about the approach and Kennedy Grace and Kyron has to dress for the occasion. Last year the two of them wore their ROLL EAGLE shirts. I can't wait to purchase these two items for Kennedy Grace.
The shoes can be purchased at Gifts of the Southand the lovely smock dress can be purchased at Best Dressed Child. Kyron will be wearing a jeresy for either Alabama or Auburn. I really can't say about my fella right now. Somedays he is on his mother side and some days he is on his daddy's side.

Chirstmas PJ's

I have been looking and looking for the kids so cute Christmas PJ's I really would loke them to match, but it's hard to match a girl and a boy. Well for me anyway. I am not to king on these from Hanna Andersson, but at this point I believe this is what I am going with. The red and white strip are for Kennedy Grace and the green and white are for Kyron.

Do you guys have any suggestions about PJ's for my little ones for Chirstmas. I would like for Kennedy Grace to have a gown. I have seen a gown online, but do not know the maker of it. It's a cotton long sleeve gown with a green color collar with santa's on it. If you know what I am talking about please share the designer of that gown.

Recovering From A

Long Weekend. My cousin got married on Saturday and it was like a chapter book. Everytime you turned the page there was something exciting taking place. I am so glad that this week is my Fall Break from school. I am setting here listen to the rain fall this morning. What a great way to start my day. I love the sound of rain. Kyron got to stay home with me and Kennedy Grace today. I plan to let him attend school Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I know Once I look at photos from the wedding I will post some. Back at Work

Everyone is feeling better! Kyron was sick all last week. The poor baby had the Flu Bug. I stayed home with the fella the whole week. I enjoyed sleeping in everyday and not having to wake up early! Kennedy Grace I think enjoyed it more. Well enough about the sickness. You guys know that I am always wanting to purchse things right? Will I think this would look great with my mail when its delievered. Go right over to Doodle Bug an order one today.

What a long week

Well I am finally finding the time to sit and post. This has been a long week getting adjusted with my new babies all 22 babies at work of course. This is going to be a very challenging year with the students that God has blessed me to have. I know that God will really be in the mix of my classroom. I am deeply depending on him to move mountains. I prayed that God will come into my life and change everything about me and my life style.I hope God will simply make me closer to him and depend on him more. I have prayed that pray for quite some time and I am wondering if that's what he is about to do in my life. I believe God is teaching me that it's OK to get out of my comforted zone and my method of teaching.

Well enough about my class this year. On to shopping. Boy oh boy my DH is going to kick me out of the house. I have ordered and plan to order several things. Last week my girlfriend had a Chez Ami party and I order Kennedy Grace this I actually order the orange polka dots and orange stripe pants. Tonight another girl friend is having a Kelly's Kids party and I was not able to attend , but I had to place an order and this is what I purchased tonight
After ordering all of this I guess my time to order Kennedy Grace some Matilda Jane clothing is out the question. Well I guess until the actual Fall 2009 Trunk Show starts right? Right!!!! I really need to order something from the Platinum Line that is 40% off right now I know you guys are wondering does she ever buy Kyron well yes he just got a lot of clothing when we went to the beach. I purchased several outfits for him at the outlets in Foley, AL.

Kyron's First Day of K-3 School

Today was Kyron's first day of school. Everything was great last night. Kyron ate his dinner, took a bath, I read him two stories, and then it was time to go to bed. Well I thought Kyron wanted to stay up with daddy until about 9:00 the sleep started to come into his eyes and he feel asleep in my arms on the couch watching "Hammertime". This morning was normal he got up ate oatmeal and got dress for school. He started gathering his things like his nap mat, backpack, and lunch tote. Then I guess it started to sink into his head that mommy and daddy is going to leave me. So he went on to ask his daddy are you going to leave me at school today. My DH told me yes and Kyron told him I want to stay with you. Well we started to leave for school and we are driving and the DH started saying that he was getting butterflies in his stomach and I thought he was crazy. Got to the school and went inside. Kyron walked down the hallway like a big boy.Entered into the class room and get what happens? Mommy started crying. I mean crying like I had lost my best friend. My DH looked at me and started smiling like what is wrong with you. Well I was able to keep it in a little just to sneak away from Kyron as he started to play. I guess I wasn't a big girl after all. Safari Themed Birthday Party

Over at Kelly's Korner she has been hosting birthday parties. I just decided to share my son's 3rd birthday. His theme was a Safari celebration. He loves the Movie Madagascar I and II so I decided to base his party from Madagascar II in Africa and made it a Safari themed party. When the guest arrived they were welcome with this sign.Once the guest entered the house they received a bottle water, Safari hat,binoculars and oh each person had to receive this medicine before they enter into the safari.

Lunch consist of Snake Eggs ( Grapes), Monkey Treats ( Bananas), Safari Sandwiches ( Peanut Butter and Jelly), Jungle Sandwiches ( Ham and Cheese on Honey Wheat Bread), Creepy Crawly Bug( Gummy Worms), Animals Crackers (Cookies), Moth Wings ( Chips), Jungle Juice( Green Hawaiian Punch), Dried Ants ( Raisins), and Worms ( Hot Dogs)

Rain, Rain Go Away

Today is a rainy day in Anniston. Last night a storm came through and part of our fence fell. The DH and his dad has to fix it before Saturday. That's right Kennedy Grace's birthday party. I am so excited. Last Friday she went to take her one year photos. She wore her tutu that I made. Can you believe it? I made her first tutu!!!! Not only did she wear her tutu, she wore her Matilda Jane outfit the lady taking her photos said " You always have Kennedy Grace in nice clothing." That was great to hear!!! Speaking of clothes. Has anyone received their Kelly's Kids and Chez Ami new catalog. Boy oh boy there are several items that I must get her. I am loving this from Kelly's Kids.. I know you guys are thinking does she ever buy her little fella clothing. Yes, I do he's my little preppy guy. I love to purchase him Polo, JCrew, Kelly's Kids,Vineyard Vine, etc. But most of all his dad like for him to wear nike basketball shorts tee shirts, and tennis shoes. Since playing basketball is all he hears, sees, and smalls. I guess that's what happens when you dad coaches basketball. Right?
