Back At Work

All this week I have been at workshops to begin the school year. I am mentally tired today. The workshops were refreshers that they give use every year for the same things. It is to the point were everyone knows what they are going to tell us next.I was so glad to come home and relax. Tomorrow is the first day for the students to come to school. I really do not think I am ready mentally or physically ready to see their sweet faces. I guess I better get myself together. I have a lot to do to get myself together. I will let you know how tomorrow went. Until then happy scrapping!

Tax Free Weekend

Today, in Alabama started Tax Free Weekend. This is for back to schools sales. Well let just say that my loving mother and I went to the Riverchase Galleria Mall in Hoover, AL so that my mother could purchase her a back to school handbag. This is a lady the knows what she wants. Here is a photo of what she purchase today.
So of course I had to do a little browsing around and fine this

or this one

I love them both, but can't decide. I guess I will take them both. (just kidding) I don't think the DH will purchase both.
Well, I guess you guys want to know if we got the handbags without paying taxes.....well..... know we did not. The state of Alabama had certain things that did not apply and designer handbags was one. Oh and the MAC Cosmetics that I purchase did not apply. but we had fun spending money today anyway.

It's almost time

for school to begin. I am ready to go back to work and see all the smiling faces. I picked up my class roll today and I have 19 students in my class. I guess I will have a busy school year. Pray for me that I will be able to have a very peaceful and productive school year. I will truly miss sleeping in and reading everyone blogs like I have done over the summer. It was fun! I guess reading blogs will have to wait until the weekend or late at night after all of my mother and wife duties are completed. I will also be back in school this term completing my master's degree. I can not wait until December and I will be finish!!!!! (smile) I am a little up set because I know that scrapbooking will be put on hole for a while, well that is until December. January 2008 will be a lot of catching up for me. Will until I post again Happy Scrapping!

House on the Market!

Today was a bit strange. My DH and I have been talking about down sizing to a smaller house, but that is all we did was talk about it. Last night we went to look at some Garden Homes a couple blocks over. This morning my DH called owner realtor who handles everything for us and she asked him was we ready to move soon! (LoL) He went on to tell her that we wanted to just see some of the Garden homes today and she said that was great because she had a couple that was interested in our house. Now our house is not on the market, there is no realtor sign in the front yard. The only people who new house serious we were about selling was GOD! ( Think to yourself a min.) After the DH got off the telephone with her I had to ask GOD was this him telling us something because from time to time GOD try and tell us things, but we do not listen. I hope and pray that GOD will help us with this journey and make all the right decision. So we meet the realtor today at 4:00 to see the Garden Homes and for her to see ours. Go in Pray with me that everything works out for the good! Here is a photo of our house now.( It was built in 2006 and we moved in May 2007) Yeah! May 2007

Here is a pic of our house!

Girl Went Shopping!!

I am so excited to be back home from the beach. The DH was so happy to see that we returned home safe. Kyron was so excited to see his dad that he forgot about mommy ( sad face) just kidding. Mommy was happy to see daddy so that he could give her a break. The entire trip Kyron was so attached to mommy that everyone was saying thing like you must be excepting again because he does not want you out of his sight. Well lets just wait and see!!!!! Here are so photos for Kyron on the beach. He did not like the water or the sand at first. I told my sister that I will have to take him back every summer to the beach so that he want be afraid.

That is my Handsome Man! Momma just love him to death!!!!

Spending a lot of time at the beach a girl had to fine a Michael's. After reading Amy's Blog, I had to go an purchase some of the Martha Stewart's Items. I fell in love with all of the stuff. Here are some Pics of some of the things that I did purchase.

Oh, by the way I purchased some of the favorite line of scrap material K& Company and guess who was on the back of one of the packets of paper was Valerie Salman . Michael's also had clearance on Sizzix machine and die cuts . So I had to purchase them. I also had to add to my Clothing Collection. I shopped at Banana Republic, Gap, Liz C. and Hartstring
(For Kyron) and I had to add to my Brighton collection while I was on vacation. I bought a new bangle bracelet

When I returned my DH asked me how much money did I bring home. I told him $1.00 and I am not telling a story. I shopped until I dropped!!!!
