Neighborhood Ball

"At Last" may have been just what President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle were thinking night as they glided through their first inaugural dance to the Etta James classic.

Lyric to the Song

At last my love has come along
My lonely days are over
And life is like a song

Ohh yeah yeah
At last
the skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up in clover
The night I looked at you

I found a dream, that I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to press my cheek to
A thrill that I have never known

Ohh yeah yeah…
You smile, you smile
oh And then the spell was cast
And here we are in heaven
for you are mine....
At Last

Meet the Obama's White House Decorator

According to Domino Magazine Michael Smith of Los Angeles was choosen to decorate the White House according to the family's "casual style, their interest in featuring 20th century American artists and utilizing affordable brands and products will serve as our guiding principles as we make the residence feel like their home," Smith says."

It's America

Today is a great day in America! It's a day that a lot of my ancestors' dreamed or maybe even never thought would happen. Today is a day that will be in our History Books.Today's the day that children all over the world will discuss in schools, homes, and maybe even with friends that the 44th President of the United States Of America is an African American. This allows every child to have hopes and a dreams. I am getting chills just sitting here thinking that America has shown a great "Change" anything is possible. Over the years our ancestors' told our family members "you can't do this and you can't do that" I feel that their Faith in God was limited and the just didn't believe. I would write more, Kennedy~Grace is crying. I have to go.
