One Year Ago Today

my little lady was born! When the DH and I found out that we were having a little girl I was truely excited becasue I knew then that I would be able to shop for little girly clothes. Th DH wanted another little boy until the day she was born his heart just melted! We give God all the praise and glory for blessing up with Kennedy Grace and welcoming her into our lives. The road was rocky in the beginning because Kennedy Grace was not crying right after deliver and the doctors had to work on her for a little while, but God step in on time and blessed us again.

My time is about to end

Well guys my time is about to end and I have to go back to work. My summer break is over and I must report to work on August 3rd. I am ready to see my fellow teachers meet my new students and their parents, but before that happens the Brown family must take a quick weekend trip. We are heading to Gulf Shores next weekend. Can't wait to take photos of the babies on the beach. Kyron and all of the family are going to love this place and boy oh boy I can't wait to eat at Lambert's Cafe. I can all of my nieces and nephews with their hands up so that the rolls will keep coming. I will post photos once I get back!

Kennedy Grace's 1st Birthday

Wow I can't believe that it's over. Thanks everyone that help with ideas, invites,cake, decor, etc. Everyone had a wonderful time. The kids really enjoyed the outdoor water activities. My little fella did not find them to exciting. Kennedy Grace was cranky most of the time. She just wanted to be held. Enjoy the photos.
By the way I am already planning for their next parties.

Safari Themed Birthday Party

Over at Kelly's Korner she has been hosting birthday parties. I just decided to share my son's 3rd birthday. His theme was a Safari celebration. He loves the Movie Madagascar I and II so I decided to base his party from Madagascar II in Africa and made it a Safari themed party. When the guest arrived they were welcome with this sign.Once the guest entered the house they received a bottle water, Safari hat,binoculars and oh each person had to receive this medicine before they enter into the safari.

Lunch consist of Snake Eggs ( Grapes), Monkey Treats ( Bananas), Safari Sandwiches ( Peanut Butter and Jelly), Jungle Sandwiches ( Ham and Cheese on Honey Wheat Bread), Creepy Crawly Bug( Gummy Worms), Animals Crackers (Cookies), Moth Wings ( Chips), Jungle Juice( Green Hawaiian Punch), Dried Ants ( Raisins), and Worms ( Hot Dogs)

We are

WALKING!!!!! Kennedy Grace started walking yesterday morning. The DH and I were there to see the whole thing. At least we were able to see her walk, since the two of us missed Kyron first steps. I am so excited because Saturday is the party and I wanted her to be walking. Thank God for this!!!! Will post pictures later once I get them loaded.

Final Time

I am just posting a quick post. I am studying today for my final exam. I am currently working on my Educational Specialist Degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama Online Program. I am loving the fact of taking classes at home, but I sometime venture off and blog while or even shop when I am suppose to be working. That's the only disadvantage that I have with taking classes online. Well I have to study. The test is on Saturday and we all know that that's Kennedy Grace's Birthday Party so I have to take the exam before then. Off to study.

Rain, Rain Go Away

Today is a rainy day in Anniston. Last night a storm came through and part of our fence fell. The DH and his dad has to fix it before Saturday. That's right Kennedy Grace's birthday party. I am so excited. Last Friday she went to take her one year photos. She wore her tutu that I made. Can you believe it? I made her first tutu!!!! Not only did she wear her tutu, she wore her Matilda Jane outfit the lady taking her photos said " You always have Kennedy Grace in nice clothing." That was great to hear!!! Speaking of clothes. Has anyone received their Kelly's Kids and Chez Ami new catalog. Boy oh boy there are several items that I must get her. I am loving this from Kelly's Kids.. I know you guys are thinking does she ever buy her little fella clothing. Yes, I do he's my little preppy guy. I love to purchase him Polo, JCrew, Kelly's Kids,Vineyard Vine, etc. But most of all his dad like for him to wear nike basketball shorts tee shirts, and tennis shoes. Since playing basketball is all he hears, sees, and smalls. I guess that's what happens when you dad coaches basketball. Right?
